We can finally get our hands on the new fragrance for men by Salvatore Ferragamo, Uomo. Ignited by true Italian passion and charisma, it represents the “art of living, an optimistic approach in every detail and moment of life”.
Uomo was developed by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Aurélien Guichard and unveiled to an exclusive crowd earlier this year at the Boboli Gardens in Florence with English actor Ben Barnes fronting the fragrance.
The creators developed a new cologne that is described as “a charismatic oriental woody creation that leaves a lasting impression, just like the man who wears it”.
With black pepper, cardamom and bergamot hitting those top notes, it’s tiramisu, orange blossom, ambrox that depict the heart notes. Sandalwood, cashmere wood and Tonka Bean cap the scent in its down notes.
The design of the bottle reinterprets the “venna” logo in a matte black appliqué running down the left and right side of the bottle bridging heritage and contemporary elegance while also enabling a confident grip of the bottle when using. The perfect window through the solid glass centre shows the golden liquid.
There is no doubt that a signature scent, can elevate a gentleman’s appearance and charm. Spraying your favourite cologne is that last step in adding taste and style to your look.
TOP COLOGNE TIPS FROM FERRAGAMO:
WHERE TO APPLY
“In warm pulse points where heat can help to release the olfactory composition: the back of the wrist, the bottom of the neck and inside the elbow.”
STORAGE
“Keep the perfume in the dark. An excellent piece of advice: never leave a bottle of perfume exposed to direct sunlight or intense light; even worse, out of its box. The composition could change, and the olfactory perception too.”
HOW TO CHOOSE
“Pay attention to how different fragrances change and react to your skin. Let the perfume evaporate before deciding: no rubbing or dabbing with paper or cloth.”
The right cologne can gently fill a room and raise eyebrows in a positive way.
Stay dapper gents.
