ALEXANDER MCQUEEN’S $14M MAYFAIR PENTHOUSE
The English designer synonymous for the skull motif, late Alexander McQueen’s London Penthouse was fit for the runway quite literally. Renovated by Paul Davies and situated in the affluent suburb of Mayfair, McQueen’s fine taste in luxury furniture added to the detail of marble bathrooms, a catwalk, chandeliers throughout and a prime rooftop terrace to host.
ALEXANDER WANG’S $4.5M NYC LOFT
Manhattan’s Tribeca precinct is known for hefty priced real estate. So when Alexander Wang put his place on the market, the one-bedroom loft apartment sold for a smooth AUD$4.5 million.
Undertaking a complete refurb with the help of interior decorator Ryan Korban, the building was part of the pre-war era, which optimised the much idolised industrial New York loft aesthetic. Exposed brick mixed in with a concertina mirrored accent wall, pressed tin metal ceilings and mullion windows create an ultra chic space. Deep choc wooden flooring, marble bathrooms and marble kitchen set a real mod-luxe tone to this space.
