Printed blazers can be a perfectly bold statement with the right pattern and colourway, and for me, I find one of the best ways to don such a piece is by letting the hero of the outfit speak (your blazer) and keeping all other pieces of your look simple and colour blocked. By selecting only one or two colours that run through your printed blazer to pair back to your shirt and trousers, you’ll still create a strong impact by not adding any additional patterned, striped or checked pieces; you avoid overdoing the whole look.

Collaborating with Ren from @creative_binge on this shoot, the artist, designer, sushi eater and G&T drinker is ever expanding on his creative craft and now growing his photographic knack across portrait and street style snaps. On location just out of the Sydney CBD, I had a blast on this shoot. Sharing a few pics below from the day and outfit “Printed in Blues”.
Till next time, stay dapper gents.
