Omeros Bros Seafood Restaurant is pretty well known on the G.C for its great seafood dishes, even our pop princess Kylie Minogue has pulled up a seat here.
Situated on the waterfront of the marina at Marina Mirage in Main Beach, the view is quite fine. With multi-million dollar yachts sparkling seaside and Palazzo Versace just around the corner, you most definitely are at the classy end of the coast.

I’ve actually dined here twice over the last few months. With a three course set menu for only $46 per person (plus wine of course), it’s pretty had to resist a great weekend lunch by the water and with great service. Outside the set menu, you’ll be looking at around $80+ for the three courses per person (plus wine). You can savour a bottle of wine with your meal for around $50 and on a warm sunny day, a bottle of Rose is a great choice. We had a French drop called Triennes Cinsault Rose, Provance France.

Oysters are an acquired taste, you either love them or not. For me, I do enjoy a seaside lunch with half a dozen prior to entree. A mixed plate of oysters is a great way to sample the different flavours from Natural, Mornay and Kilpatrick; even though I could easily enjoy solely the natural type (keep in mind this is in addition to the set menu).
A combination of the chiefs favourite and popular dishes from the A La Carte menu makes up the set menu options and entree was flame grilled garlic and lemon Baby Octopus.

For main on my first occasion I had the grilled Barramundi with lemon butter and on my second occasion, I had the Steak Diane, scaloppini of eye fillet with creamy brandy Worcestershire source, topped with a taro crisp. Even though there is quite a lot of accompanying sauce, it’s delicious and the meat was super tender.

Dessert was quite mouth watering on both occasions. Chocolate Terrine with pistachio and raspberry sauce and the second Sticky Date Pudding with creamy vanilla ice-cream.

The ambience is great; classy yet relaxed. Parquetry flooring, a large wine cellar on display and tiered level setting from indoors across the split-level areas, a terrace setting options through to the boardwalk. I’d recommend booking a boardwalk seat to take in all the seaside feels.
