As we move into the warmer months, creamy and full bodies cocktails are left behind for a palette ready to indulge in fresh and citrusy tipples perfect for sunset afternoons and balmy nights.
A take on the traditional Caprioska is a Kiwi infused version I came across from Spoon Fork Bacon. Not only does it look great, but this recipe serves for 6, which is perfect when hosting.
RECIPE
Ingredients: Serves 6
2 cups kiwi, peeled and diced.
12 mint leaves, divided.
2 tablespoons sugar, divided.
3 limes, juiced.
2 cups high-quality vodka.
2 cups tonic water (or coconut flavoured sparkling water).
Ice cubes.
Garnish:
1 kiwi, peeled and thinly sliced.
Method:
Line six glasses up and fill each with 1/3 cup of diced kiwis, 2 mint leaves, 1 teaspoon sugar, and ½ lime juiced.
Muddle together the contents of each glass until fully combined.
Fill each glass with ice and top off with 1/3 cup vodka and 1/3 cup tonic water.
Stir, finish each with a kiwi garnish and serve.
Enjoy and stay dapper.
