Pink can be a little bold or an overwhelming colour from some gents, but as we move into the warmer and celebratory months, it’s a playful colour that shouldn’t be overlooked when trying to incorporate a bit of ‘contemporary cool’ to your outfit.
Welcoming Spring to our wardrobes, my last post ‘Shades of Salmon’ shared a look styled with a salmon blazer (click hear to view). Continuing in part 2, this look focuses on flipping the contrast to focus on a majority pink tone to show how to style pink into your #outfitoftheday.
The last look (above right) made use of majority black under the salmon blazer. Now I reverse that (above left), working with only a black blazer and tie, with soft pink trousers and a deep magenta shirt. Pattern is still added for detail through the polka dot tie and a diamond print shirt. By adding a pastel pink pocket square, it brings pink to the front of the look to create a cohesive direction to the outfit and a finishing touch.
